Our quality and fresh produce is prepared from your personal choice of ingredients – with the Create Your Own menu – or from our full menu at our deli counter. Your selected salad is then sent to our open-theatre chopping stations to be freshly chopped and dressed by our super-star Choppers. Fresh healthy food, created in minimum time.
Freshly Chopped was born in Ireland in 2012 through pure love of health and fitness, with a true lack of nutritious food available to people wanting to live a healthy lifestyle on the go. The name Chopped is derived from our unique way of preparing your food using our super-hero mezzaluna knife to provide fast healthy food to you over the counter.

All our natural and fresh produce is locally sourced and is thoughtfully planned and designed by our Chief Chef, Rory Morahan in partnership with our Chief Choppers, Brian Lee and Andy Chen.

We’re Brian Lee and Andy Chen and we had a need; a food outlet in Ireland where people could find clean food fast to fuel their day. And so the seeds for Freshly Chopped were sewn.
The first Chopped store opened in Baggot Street, Dublin in May 2012. We’ve now got over 50 stores across Ireland, Cyprus and the UK, selling over 20,000 healthy salads a week as well as healthy blended wraps, baked Choppitos, signature smoothies and homemade soups.
In 2016 the Freshly Chopped Franchise model was launched, the first of which opened in February 2016 with many more in the pipeline.
We have one simple philosophy here at Chopped; healthy, quality and fresh food, served fast. Quality, innovation and agility are key to driving this philosophy so we continuously drive a culture of change. We want to serve delicious, healthy food fast. Natural and full of flavour. Food we would be happy to give our children.
